Doc Martens
@ 2008-08-12 – 12:00:39
Being a fan of bands such as Dead Kennedys,Crass,Rancid,Dropkick Murphys and The Distillers, i've always taken inspiration from the Punk style. My favourite 'punk inspired' item has got to be my yellow Doc Martens.
Sadly, after a few gigs, my boots got trampled and dirty so they are no longer in top form. I also own calf high purple Doc's which are in perfect condition. Both are made from a suede type material and so it's an understatment to say they're hard to clean.I bought them both about 3 or 4 years ago so i can definitely say i'm ready for some new ones!A girl can't have too many pairs of shoes, right?I'm absolutely loving the new-ish patent 8 hole bright Doc Martens.
I love them, they're gorgeous, they're amazing!
One problem.
Which colour am i supposed to choose?
Well,
Red is my favourite colour but because of this, i already have a lot of red clothing.
Pink isn't one of my favourite colours but the shade of these boots is divine,eye-catching and cool. However, i'm not entirely fond of the girly look and so i'm worried about looking too 'Barbie'.
Orange is great. I don't actually think i own anything orange myself but overall it's a generally happy colour!
Green, i do like green but for some reason i'm not liking the green of these boots. It could be down to the fact that i used to see my favourite celebrities getting 'slimed' on nickelodeon in a very similar shade! -

Hi!This is going to be my first real, fashion related post.I'm going to do a top ten list of supermodels who, in my opinion, are brilliant at what they do.Of course, i won't be able to put all brilliant models in a top ten list but if you really object or think that someone really deserves to be in the list, let me know!I'll consider making it a top twenty.
Thanks,
MBNumber 10
